Unusual houses of the world

Is it a cave? Is it a house? Well, yes. Located on the shores of Malibu Beach in California, this 3 bedroom home was on sale last year for over $36,000,000.

This tiny house is teetering on a rock in the Serbian town of Bajina Basta, about 160 km (99 miles) from Belgrade. The house was built in 1968 by a group of young men who decided that the rock on the river was an ideal place for a tiny shelter, according to the house's co-owner, who was among those involved in its construction.

... and this, of course, is a Piano House. Located in Huainan City, China, there is little known about the house, but it was reportedly designed in 2007 by architectural students at Hefei University of Technology. It acts as a showroom for city planners to show off their plans for the Shannan district in Huainan City.

This spaceship landed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and never left. In realtiy, of course, someone had the amazing idea to build this house in the image of a spaceship. It might not have the lights and the lasers, but it is pretty close to what we imagine UFOs to look like.

Anything but plane! This house is owned by Joanne Ussary of Benoit, Mississippi. The house is an old Boeing 727 that she purchased for $2,000. It cost her double what she paid for it to move it onto her property. After paying $4,000 to have it moved, she paid another $24,000 to renovate it. To get into the house, you lower the stairs using a remote control. The bathroom is still in its original condition, but she redid the rest of the plane. She even has a Jacuzzi in the cockpit.

No, this house was not the victim of a tornado. It is meant to be upside down! It is located in Szymbark, Poland. It was designed by a man named Daniel Czapiewski. He designed the home to signify the former communist era and the times that we live in today.
